Sydney has ran The Vivid Light Festival for a few years now and I have never been able to go until this year. The city's landmarks becomes a canvas for these light displays and just makes Sydney all that more colourful. I was lucky enough to see it for the first time during a weeknight, so while there was still quite a lot of people, it wasn't as crowded as my 2nd visit on a Saturday night, plus its a long weekend here to celebrate the Queen's Birthday. Let's just the say, if you weren't already over the traffic and trying to find parking on the way in, you'll pretty much be a raging lunatic by the time you see the crowds.
Apart from the weekend crowds, it's a great night out and here's no better way in taking advantage of the strangely balmy winter nights near the water than to walk around in it.
